Beautifully refurbished, this upholstered stool opens up with a hinged top to reveal a sewing box interior for storage. The interior is original with the addition of some lace trim. The top has been newly reupholstered with fire retardant wadding and original vintage Sanderson linen fabric. The stool looks very Victorian arts and crafts in style but the interior suggests reproduction. Either way it's a beautiful decorative and useful piece of furniture.
