Rare Art Deco Wade Heath Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs musical jug in excellent condition with the musical mechanism working to the original Disney movie ‘Heigh-ho' song music.
This ceramic pitcher/ jug has a base of cream colour with brightly hand painted high relief design for the figures, house and garden. It was inspired by the 1937 Disney film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and then created and produced in 1938 by Wade Heath.
The handle is a three-dimensional squirrel and two bluebirds sitting on it and around the jug outer base rim is the wording Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The jug is marked on the underside of the bottom edge with "Wadeheath England". Plus has a gold coloured wooden base with wind up mechanism and switch, which conceals the musical movement.
It is in excellent working condition, no restoration, chips or repairs, it has typical age related crazing for this type of glaze, as can be seen in the photos. It is also very clean internally with no staining. Please use all the photos as part of the full condition.
It measures 22cm high and 14.7cm at widest diameter including handle.
