Houghton Butcher MFG Co Ensign Auto Screen Projector Screen London WW1 Boxed VGC
This was made by The Houghton-Butcher MFG Co Ltd between 1915-1926. They called it Ensign Auto-screen, named after their most successful line of cameras. A very scarce and rare find, complete in full working order and original box.
I've included a video to show you it being put up with relative ease. It's easily put back by folding the back struts inwards and pushing gently down. The handle has an old makeshift repair as shown but is still pretty strong and usable. Made of quality materials. English Patent no 379781.
Screen is approx 92cm wide x 70cm high
Case is 114cm long x 13.7cm deep x 12cm high.
This is just a wonderful piece of English history. It's in used condition so does show cracking and wear to the screen and some knocks and wear to the case in places through use. Currently the only one available online made by HBM.
This is for collection from Nuneaton cv11 within 7 days or please contact me for a delivery quote. I won't post it as I don't trust parcel couriers with large items and they most likely won't insure it.
