Pair of superb quality antique French copper flat skimmer strainers. Hand-forged, they feature a flat circular perforated head with hand-punched holes and a long handle decorated with stamped motifs. A sturdy ring at the end allows for easy hanging and display.
Crafted in the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1880–1920), these rustic skimmers show beautiful hammer marks and natural patina from age and use. They were likely used for straining or lifting foods in a traditional French country kitchen.
